Waterloo Region has many vibrant public libraries dedicated to providing information, research facilities, lifelong learning and enjoyment for people of all ages.

Each of the three cities within the region operates its own public library system, while the Region of Waterloo operates the library system within the four townships. Public libraries in Waterloo Region offer common services such as interlibrary loan, free WiFi, employment resources and local history collections.
