Doors Open Waterloo Region
Doors Open Waterloo Region is a free heritage and architecture tour of special, occasionally "secret" places in the region, held on the third Saturday in September every year.
The ninth annual Doors Open Waterloo Region took place on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, including children's activities, music, drama presentations, walking tours and other special events.

Doors Open Waterloo Region 2012 is our 10th annual Doors Open, and we're planning themes and special events to mark other significant anniversaries happening at our sites this year! Stay tuned for updates.
Discover the secret places of Waterloo Region! Most sites open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. FREE admission, children's activities, music, drama presentations, walking tours and other special events. Pick up our map and guide at museums, libraries and tourism offices from July to September or in The Waterloo Region Record on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012.

About Doors Open
Doors Open Waterloo Region is part of Doors Open Ontario, a province wide initiative of the Ontario Heritage Trust to celebrate community heritage and architecture.
Depending on the community, Doors Open events take place any time from April to October. Doors Open is free, and many participating properties either normally charge an entrance fee, or are not usually open to the public. In most cases, no tickets or advance registration is required for the event.
