The Region of Waterloo has many vibrant public libraries dedicated to providing information, research facilities, lifelong learning and enjoyment for people of all ages.

Each of the three cities within the region operates its own public library system. However, branch libraries in the townships of Woolwich, Wilmot, Wellesley and North Dumfries belong to the Region of Waterloo Library system.

Region of Waterloo Library is committed to developing broad-based collections and ensuring access to information and services to meet the needs of the rural community in Waterloo Region.

We offer print and e-books, audiobooks, magazines, DVDs, CDs, free internet access, online research tools, local history resources, family literacy materials, events and programs for adults and children.
