Region of Waterloo International Airport

The Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF) is a full-service, customer friendly facility that supports commercial, corporate and general aviation. The airport is centrally located in southwestern Ontario (Canada), only 10 minutes from Hwy. 401 and within a 20 minute drive from the cities of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo.

The airport provides twice daily, non-stop service with American Airlines to Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) with connections to over 250 cities in over 40 countries worldwide; and daily non-stop service with WestJet  to Calgary (YYC) with connections to Vancouver, Victoria, Abbotsford, Kelowna, Edmonton, Regina and Saskatoon.

Weekly seasonal service is available with WestJet to Orlando (MCO) and Sunwing  to Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba from December through mid-March.

Passenger amenities at the airport include free Wi-Fi, high-speed internet, ATM, a licensed sit down café (valid boarding pass required), charging stations, complimentary luggage carts and well-lit outdoor parking adjacent to the terminal. Parking is only $8 per day / $56 per week (plus HST).

The Region of Waterloo International Airport is an accessible facility.  Please contact your air carrier before flying for information on wheelchairs, passenger escort services, transportation within the airport and assistance with checking-in, boarding and arriving.

The airport is one of the top 20 busiest airports in Canada and is home to over 25 aviation-related businesses that employ over 300 people. The airport also contributes over 86 million dollars annually to the Region's economy.
