Elections
Municipal elections in Ontario are held every four years on the fourth Monday of October. The most recent vote was held Oct. 25, 2010. The next vote will be held in October 2014.
In Waterloo Region, residents are asked to vote for one or more Regional Councillors and for the Regional Chair.

Fluoride question on the 2010 ballot
In the 2010 municipal election, there was a question on the ballot regarding fluoridation of water. The question read:
"Should the Region of Waterloo fluoridate your municipal water
Yes or No"
