Helen Jowett was elected as Regional Councillor for Cambridge on October 27, 2014.

Helen is a Certified Human Resources Professional and Mediator, along with holding a Master's in Business Administration. Helen has also been an advocate on Business and Community Boards. Helen was also past Chair of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce and Vice Chair of Conestoga College, along with a host of other volunteer work. Helen believes strongly that a healthy prosperous community is achieved by the ability of leaders in business, education and government to collaborate, and engage constituents in their interests, in the community.

Helen was also past chair on Canada's Technology Triangle, the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation, and Junior Achievement. She was also President of Sunrise Rotary, a member of the Prosperity Forum and the Barnraisers Council.

As a member of Regional Council, the three areas that Helen plans to focus on are taxes, infrastructure and jobs.

Helen lives with her husband Marc, she has two adult daughters, Ashlee and Dani, and three grandson's Caleb, Eli and Lockie.
