Meet Ross Kelterborn
Ross Kelterborn was re-elected Mayor of Wellesley Township on October 25, 2010 and in his role as Mayor, is also a Member of Waterloo Regional Council. Ross was first elected Mayor of Wellesley in 2003 and was subsequently re-elected in November 2006. Before becoming Mayor, Ross served for 22 years as a municipal councillor. He is also a retired school teacher.
As a Regional Councillor, Ross serves on all standing committees of Council. In addition to committee responsibilities, Ross has also served on various other committees, project teams, working groups and studies - more recently - Library Committee, Trees By-law Exception Committee, Grand River Conservation Authority, Ament Line Reconstruction project team, and Wellesley Township - Road Reconstruction project team.
Ross and his wife Jean reside in Wellesley and have a combined family of two daughters, five sons, 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
