National Volunteer Week - April 21 - 27, 2013

National Volunteer Week, is April 21 - 27, 2013. Each year we pay tribute to the millions of volunteers who share their time and talents in communities across Canada. The Region of Waterloo is proud to be part of these celebrations!               We will be hosting several volunteer appreciation events and publishing volunteer salutes in our local newspapers. Please join us in extending a special "Thank you!" to all Regional volunteers who make a difference in our porgrams and services every day.

Volunteers turn compassion into action. They donate time, energy and

ability to make their communities a better place to live. In return, they meet new people, develop valuable skills and make a difference every day.

The Region of Waterloo needs volunteers for a variety of programs at our libraries, museums, special events and seniors' activities. Take a look:
