Provincial Offences Court
Provincial Offences Court is responsible for the administration, courtroom support and municipal prosecution of Provincial Offences Act offences as well as municipal by-laws within the Region of Waterloo.
Provincial Offences Court encompasses some 120 Acts. The most common violations fall under the Highway Traffic Act, the Liquor Licence Act and the Compulsory Automobiles Insurance Act.
Other violations include offences enforced by the Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of the Environment and Department of Natural Resources.
Note: Criminal, family and small claims court matters are administered through the Ministry of the Attorney General.

All Provincial Offences matters in the Region of Waterloo are administered through two court locations in Kitchener and Cambridge:

Both locations: Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Closed on statutory holidays)
To pay a fine
There are four ways to pay a fine:
- IN PERSON: At Kitchener or Cambridge court, or at any provincial offences court in Ontario. You can pay by cash, debit, cheque, money order or credit card.
- BY MAIL: Send a cheque, money order or credit card details (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) to:

- BY TELEPHONE: Call 519-745-9446 or 519-740-5796 to pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express).
