Waterloo Region – The Region of Waterloo will trial new safety measures at three roundabouts to enhance crosswalk safety for pedestrians and cyclists. Construction begins later this month.

Waterloo Region – The Region of Waterloo, together with federal and provincial representatives, celebrated the official opening of the new Highway 7/8 pedestrian and cyclist bridge today. Waterloo Region – In March 2026, the Region of Waterloo will roll out cart-based waste collection for garbage and organics for easier, cleaner, and more efficient collection.
