Construction notice: Cedar Creek and Trussler Road roundabout update, Township of North Dumfries, September 14-15, 2024

Project update

As part of the Cedar Creek Road and Trussler Road roundabout project, we will be moving into stage 3 of construction on September 14, 2024. This requires a full closure of the intersection to complete surface asphalt paving and permanent line painting of the new roundabout.  

Timing 

This intersection will be fully closed on Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15.

On Monday, September 16, the intersection will reopen to westbound traffic only. The roundabout is currently scheduled to be fully re-opened on Friday, September 20.

Closures

During the weekend of September 14 and 15, the intersection will be fully closed. Emergency services have been notified of this closure to minimize disruptions.

Detour

Please use the detour route in the map provided. There will also be signs in the area to detour traffic.

There may be periods when traffic will need to travel on a gravel surface. Crews will be on hand to direct traffic when needed. Please plan for some delays, and when driving or walking through and around the construction zone follow and obey the construction traffic signage for your safety and the safety of the workers.
