CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – REGIONAL COUNCIL VACANCY 2025
Interested applicants are encouraged to submit the following information to the Clerk’s department by August 1, 2025 at 4:00 p.m., by attending the Regionof Waterloo headquarters located at 150 Frederick Street, Kitchener, ON:
- Completed Council Appointment Application Form
- Proof of Canadian Citizenship
- Proof of Residency in the Region of Waterloo
- Statement of Interest and Qualifications
Applicants must be eligible to be an elector in the Region of Waterloo and meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be a Canadian Citizen
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be at least one of the following:
- A resident of the Region of Waterloo
- A non-resident who owns or rents property in the Region of Waterloo
- The spouse of a non-resident who owns or rents property in the Region of Waterloo
