NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING - PROPOSED MUNICIPAL BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENTS Section 173(3) of the Municipal Act, 2001
The Councils of the City of Cambridge (“City”) and the Township of North Dumfries (“Township”) have put forward a proposal to restructure to effect the annexation of certain lands (“the Annexed Lands”) as minor boundary adjustments (“collectively, the Restructuring Proposal”) under the provisions of Section 173 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25 as amended from the Township to the City.
Both Municipalities have approved the Restructuring Proposal and are now seeking the support of the Regional Municipality of Waterloo Council, which will be considered at a Special Council meeting on:
Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.
