Notice of Intention to Pass Fees and Charges By-Law and a By-law to Amend the Taxi by-law

The Region of Waterloo intends to pass a By-law to Establish Fees and Charges, which includes new fees and charges, as well as amendments and/or removal of existing fees and charges. Some of the changes included in the by-law are for transit services, waste management services, airport services, regional growth, development and sustainability services, cultural services, seniors’ services and paramedic services. Council will also consider a by-law to amend the taxi by-law, as described at its Licensing and Hearings Committee meeting from November 13th, 2025.
The by-laws will be considered at the Regular Council Meeting, following the Final 2026 Budget approval, scheduled for:
Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
