Construction notice: Cedar Creek and Trussler Road roundabout, Township of North Dumfries, Stage 2

Project update

As part of the Cedar Creek Road and Trussler Road roundabout project, we’ll be moving into stage 2 of construction on Wednesday, August 7. Musselman Excavating is the contractor on this project.

Timing — May to September 2024

Construction is being completed in stages from May through September 2024. Stage 2 construction will last approximately five weeks.

Lane restrictions

During this stage of construction, only westbound traffic can travel through the construction site on Cedar Creek/ Oxford County Road 8.  Emergency services have been notified of this closure to minimize disruptions

Detour

When travelling eastbound, please use the detour route provided. Blenheim Road > Drumbo Road > Trussler Road > Alps Road > Northumberland Street

There may be periods when traffic will need to travel on a gravel surface. Crews will be on hand to direct traffic when needed. Please plan for some delays, and when driving or walking through and around the construction zone follow and obey the construction traffic signage for your safety and the safety of the workers.
