Bean Road (Township Road 8)

Project update

As part of the Walker Road improvements, we are replacing the culvert which crosses Bean Road at Walker Road. A culvert is a tunnel that allows water to flow under the road safely. To do this work, we need to close Bean Road (Township Road 8) west of Walker Road for a few days.

Timing

This work will start on or around August 25 and take approximately three days to complete. Weather may impact this timing.

Closure

Bean Road (Township Road 8) west of Walker Road will be closed to all traffic. Local traffic can access Bean Road through Township Road 10.

Emergency Services (Police, Fire, Paramedics) have been notified of the construction, closures and detours to minimize any disruptions to services.

Pedestrian access

There are no sidewalks in this area. Access will also be restricted for pedestrians and cyclists during this replacement.  When walking or cycling through the construction zone please follow and obey the traffic signage for your safety.
