Public Health Family Nursing
A Public Health Family Nurse can answer your questions about:
- Pregnancy (before, during and after birth)
- Growth and development of children ages 0-6 years
- Feeding babies and young children
- Parenting and caregiving
- Any concerns about your child's health or behaviour
- Health and community services that can help you
Nurses are available at the Welcome Spaces each week. This service is walk-in only, no appointment needed.
- Cambridge Welcome Space – 150 Main Street, Cambridge
- Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Kitchener Welcome Space – 20 Weber Street East, Kitchener
- Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Waterloo Welcome Space – 99 Regina Street South, Waterloo
- Mondays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Regional Welcome Spaces offer free, in-person, drop-in services for residents needing income, housing and childcare subsidy support.
