Public Health Family Nursing

A Public Health Family Nurse can answer your questions about:

  • Pregnancy (before, during and after birth)
  • Growth and development of children ages 0-6 years
  • Feeding babies and young children
  • Parenting and caregiving
  • Any concerns about your child's health or behaviour
  • Health and community services that can help you

Nurses are available at the Welcome Spaces each week. This service is walk-in only, no appointment needed. 

  • Cambridge Welcome Space – 150 Main Street, Cambridge
    • Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Kitchener Welcome Space – 20 Weber Street East, Kitchener
    • Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Waterloo Welcome Space – 99 Regina Street South, Waterloo
    • Mondays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Regional Welcome Spaces offer free, in-person, drop-in services for residents needing income, housing and childcare subsidy support.
