Board of Health

Region of Waterloo Council serves as the Board of Health for this region. Region of Waterloo Public Health reports to the Board of Health.

The Boards of Health follows Ontario's Health Protection and Promotion Act and the Ministry of Health's Ontario Public Health Standards and Protocols. The Standards and Protocols set the minimum requirements for Public Health programs and services.
