Page Assist
The Region’s websites now have a feature called “Page Assist” that enables you to display our website in a more usable and visually accessible way. You will find the icon for this tool in the lower right corner of your screen on any of our webpages. Click the icon and choose your assist feature.
Page Assist improves or modifies some accessibility issues by allowing you to set how you would like to view the page. Through this tool, you can:
- Customize your visual experience in real-time based on your own requirements.
- Remove style sheets, instantly enhancing readability.
- Change colours, cursor size, text spacing, default contrast, formatting and more.
- Change font size and styles, including choosing OpenDyslexic 3, a typeface specifically designed to increase readability for readers with dyslexia.
Each Page Assist feature can be turned on individually or in concert with others, giving you full control over the digital experience.
