The Province of Ontario has passed legislation banning the use of automated speed enforcement cameras. The Region of Waterloo’s Municipal Speed Camera Program will no longer issue speeding tickets effective November 14, 2025. Tickets issued on or before November 13, 2025 remain valid. Vehicle owners are responsible for paying or disputing the ticket by the date indicated on the ticket, even if it is received in the mail after November 14.
