Community-led projects working towards our goal

Family Violence Project  A collaborative of nine co-located agencies providing wrap-around services to survivors of intimate partner violence and gender-based violence.

Early Intervention Program  Evidence-based, trauma-informed support and education in the early stages of abusive behaviour.

Engaging Men Program  Prevention program run by Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region that uses counselling to challenge harmful norms among men.

Sexual Violence Legal Support Program  Specialized legal guidance for survivors of sexual violence.

Waterloo Region Gender-Based Violence Leadership Strategy  A regional strategy aligning Indigenous-led responses with mainstream service systems.

IPV/GBV service provider survey  A 2025 survey mapping regional services, funding and resource allocation, to identify gaps and guide investment.
