Join Region of Waterloo Museums this month for fall and Halloween-themed spookily fun activities for all ages.  This season don’t miss eerie walking tours, spooky nights, fall -themed fun, trick or treat opportunities, and tasty fall themed foods.

After a successful summer, the Region of Waterloo Museums and Archives will extend Doon Heritage Village season to include select Saturdays this fall as well as Thanksgiving weekend.

Doon Heritage Village is reopening to the public on July 1 following the completion of infrastructure upgrades, which support the long-term operation of the site and improve the visitor experience.

It’s National AccessAbility Week in Canada and the Region of Waterloo is taking action to reduce barriers by joining the Sunflower Program, an internationally recognized initiative that supports people with hidden disabilities in accessing public services.  

The Region of Waterloo is pleased to invite the community back to Doon Heritage Village, with a grand reopening on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. The “Back to the Village” event will feature returning favourites like costumed interpreters, farm animals, and historic games, as well as music, food, and entertainment for everyone.

Waterloo Region – Hop on over to the Region of Waterloo Museums and Archives for bunny-approved family activities and events this Easter. This year’s roundup is bursting with games, crafts, egg hunts, and egg-citement for kids of all ages.

Waterloo Region - New for 2026, the Region of Waterloo Museums and Archives have introduced a Community Membership created specifically for charities and registered not-for-profits. The membership can be purchased by an organization and shared across the organization.

Shaped by the voices of Cambridge residents, Snapshots in Time transports visitors into the past, celebrating 50 years of Cambridge history.
