Farmer's Market Spur Line Trail

The Region of Waterloo is constructing a 3.0m wide multi-use path along the Waterloo Central Railway line between Northfield Drive West and Farmer's Market Road. This work will also include draining improvements, culvert extension at Forwell Creek, landscape restoration, retaining wall installation, lighting and rest areas.
The section of the path between Northfield Drive and Farmer's Market Road was completed in 2022. The next phase of work between the railway and the Northfield Drive/Parkside Drive intersection behind the Fire Hall is planned for construction in spring 2025.
