  • Superior Court Hearing adjourned to February 2026 to pursue mediation Waterloo Region - The hearing of the Region's application on the Site-Specific By-law for 100 Victoria Street North, originally scheduled for November 19 to 21, 2025, has been adjourned to February 2026. During this adjournment, the parties have agreed to engage in mediation regarding the Region's Site-Specific By-law.

  • Region’s overnight warming spaces will open November 1 Waterloo Region - The Region of Waterloo is working closely with partners and the Plan to End Chronic Homelessness co-creators to support people experiencing homelessness to stay warm and safe this winter. The Region will open two overnight warming spaces and continue to support two newly opened shelters for women and gender diverse individuals.
