The Region of Waterloo’s Landfill Liaison Committee was established in 1992 to identify operational issues that affect residents close to the Waterloo landfill, such as litter, odour and noise, and to collaboratively resolve these issues. 

The next committee meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August18, 2025, at the Waterloo Landfill Administration Building, Gate 1, 925 Erb Street West, Waterloo. A site tour will be taking place along side any questions about the operations of our landfill. To attend this meeting, you must register at wmcs@regionofwaterloo.ca .
