Breslau GO Transit

The Region of Waterloo purchased a strategic parcel of land in Woolwich, unlocking opportunity for a future GO Station site and new mixed-use development including affordable housing. This new parcel is a milestone investment in Breslau and will help ensure that the Region plans intentionally as we quickly grow to one million people.

Charles Street Terminal Redevelopment

The Region of Waterloo and City of Kitchener are working towards a vision for a mixed-use development on the former Charles Street Terminal site, in the heart of downtown Kitchener. This vision will be informed by environmental and technical findings, financial modeling and community engagement.

Kitchener Central Transit Hub

The Kitchener Central Transit Hub will redefine how people connect, commute, and experience Waterloo Region. The transit hub will offer connections to GRT and ION Light Rail, GO Transit (bus and rail), VIA rail, intercity bus, active transportation, car shares, and pedestrian trails.
