Start a new family tradition! Gather your loved ones—family by birth or family by choice—for a heartwarming Tea by the Grand at McDougall Cottage! Indulge in a delightful classic tea featuring favourites like cucumber and cream cheese tea sandwiches, ham and cheese pinwheels, scones with preserves and whipped cream, shortbread, and hot chocolate or bottomless tea.

Magical Performance and Fun Fair (Mon. Feb. 17 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum - Kitchener)

It's a day of magic and fun at the Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum with local magician Scott Boyd! Scott will bring his incredible talent and charm to our grand theatre in an all-ages performance. The day will include fun fair games, a wiggle car track, beaver tail treats and Yog N’ Shake on site.

Discovery Space Birthday Party (Feb. 15, 16 & 17 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Daily guest makers from 1 to 4 p.m.) at Schneider Haus - Kitchener)

It’s our Discovery Space’s birthday! Celebrate one amazing year of imagination and creativity in Schneider Haus’ Discovery/Maker Space. Tinker, create, build, and play all weekend long! Get creative with special guest makers from Mindful Makers and Kwartzlab Makerspace. Decorate a delicious funfetti cookie! Enjoy live music with Tea for Three Trio from 1 to 3 p.m. on February 17. Receive one free family pass with paid admission on February 17th to visit again with your chosen family!
