Project update

As part of the Fountain Street and Maple Grove Road project, we will be completing surface asphalt paving and permanent line painting on the roundabout over the weekend. This work requires a full closure of the intersection.

Timing — May 24–25

This intersection will be fully closed starting at 2 a.m. on Saturday, May 24 until 6 a.m. on Monday, May 26.

In the event of inclement weather, the proposed schedule will be pushed to the following weekend.

Closures

The intersection will be fully closed to all through traffic over the weekend. Emergency services have been notified of this closure to minimize disruptions.

Detour

Please use Cherry Blossom Road, Royal Oak Road and Speedsville Road to detour around the intersection. Detour signs and map are provided. Crews will be on hand to direct traffic when needed.

Please plan for some delays and travel carefully in the construction zone.

Pedestrian access

The existing sidewalks in this area will remain accessible during the roundabout closure. Pedestrians should follow the signs as they walk through the site.
