Blair Road to Dickie Settlement Road

About the project

The Region of Waterloo is constructing two concrete bus landing pads, one on either side of Fountain Street near Blair Road. This work also includes the installation of new sidewalks, curb and gutter leading to the new bus stop landing pads from Blair Road.

Timing

Construction is planned to start on or around October 20 and go until October 24.

Closures

Fountain Street between Blair Road and Dickie Settlement Road will be closed to through traffic.

Emergency Services (Police, Fire, Paramedics) as well as the City of Cambridge have been notified of the construction, closures and detours to minimize any disruptions to services.

Detour

Traffic will be detoured through Dickie Settlement Road <> Roseville Road <> Edworthy Side <> Cedar Street <> St Andrew Street <> George Street <> Blair Road.

Pedestrian access

The existing shoulders are gravel and there are no sidewalks at this location. Pedestrians should follow the signs as they walk through the site.

Grand River Transit detours
