Waterloo Street to Union Street

About the project

The Region of Waterloo is repairing the Hartman Bridge in New Hamburg. This work includes repairing the concrete and steel bars.

Timing

Construction will start on or around September 29 and will last approximately 10 days.

Lane reductions

Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times by flag persons or automatic traffic light controls. Lanes will be reduced during this work. Please expect some delays and travel carefully through the construction zone.

Emergency Services (Police, Fire, Paramedics) as well as the Township of Wilmot will been notified of the construction, closures and detours to minimize any disruptions to services.

Pedestrian access

The sidewalks in this area will remain accessible during the project. Pedestrians should follow the signs as they walk through the site.
