Construction notice: Myers Road, Cambridge, July 2025
Gatehouse Drive/Lisbon Pines Drive to Branchton Road
About the project
The Region of Waterloo is improving the pedestrian crossings on Myers Road between Branchton Road and Gatehouse Drive/Lisbon Pines Drive. This includes a raised pedestrian crossing in front of Moffat Creek school with curb and gutter, pavement markings, signage, and a “speed hump” to provide greater visibility of the crossing area and help slow down traffic. The crossing distances will also be shortened at the Gatehouse Drive/Lisbon Pines Drive intersection.
This work is part of the interim construction of Myers Road while we continue to design the full reconstruction of the road.
