Project update

As part of the roundabout pedestrian safety pilot, we are doing the final asphalt paving on the Homer Watson Boulevard and Block Line Road roundabout in Kitchener. This location received raised crosswalks, storm sewer upgrades and improved lighting and curb.   

Timing — September 8 and 9

The final asphalt paving will happen overnight from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. on September 8 and 9.  

Closures

Homer Watson Boulevard from Hanson Avenue to Treeline Place will be closed overnight from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. on September 8.

Block Line Road from Kingswood Drive to west of Fallowfield Drive will be closed overnight from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. on September 9.

Pedestrian access

The sidewalks in this area will remain accessible during this work. Pedestrians should follow the signs as they walk through the site.
