Waterloo Region – Compost is available at both the Cambridge and Waterloo Waste Management sites on October 6, 2026.

The compost is made from yard waste collected by Region of Waterloo residents, and is a natural way to enrich soil, support plant growth and improve water retention. Residents of Waterloo Region can pick up small quantities of compost at no cost while supplies last:

• Maximum five bushels
• Bring your own shovel and containers

The Region’s Waste Management sites are open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and are located at:

• 925 Erb Street West (Gate 2), Waterloo
• 201 Savage Drive, Cambridge
