Public meeting: St. Jacobs Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion, January 22, 7–8 p.m.
The Region of Waterloo has been working on a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment to evaluate ways to expand the St. Jacobs Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 61 Water Street in St. Jacobs.
Join us for the second virtual public meeting for this project on January 22 from 7 to 8 p.m. At this meeting we will provide a summary of the study’s progress to date, outline the environmental assessment process, explain potential impacts to the Conestogo River, alternative solutions, the approach to evaluating each alternative and next steps in the project. Staff will be available during this virtual meeting to answer questions about the project.
The public will have the opportunity to provide input through the EngageWR project page following the meeting.
