Support local organizations by bringing unwanted items to the Waterloo Waste Management Site

Waterloo Region – The Region of Waterloo’s Waste Management Division is teaming up with local organizations to encourage decluttering and giving unwanted items a second life.

Event Details:

• Location: Waterloo Waste Management Site, 925 Erb St. W., Gate #1
• Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025
• Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

What to Bring:

• Clothing
• Bikes
• Electronics (e.g. laptops, cell phones, headphones)
• Batteries (A, AA, Button Cell, etc.)

Participating helps to repurpose, reuse or recycle items, keeps good materials out of the landfill and supports a more sustainable community.

This event takes place during Circular Economy Month, which is a public awareness campaign aimed at educating and empowering Canadians to support an economy that protects the planet and prioritizes people. A circular economy focuses on sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing, and recycling existing materials and products for as long as possible.
