Potential CUPE 1883 Labour Disruption
The Region of Waterloo is currently in negotiations with CUPE 1883, representing full-time office, clerical and technical employees. Currently, CUPE 1883 will be in a legal strike position as of Saturday, September 26.
In the event of a strike, services will continue, some with reduced capacity.
The Region's long term care home is a full-time campus for students as part of a plan to improve seniors’ lives and get more Personal Support Workers into the workforce.
