Bleams Road and Trussler Road intersection

About the project

As part of the Bleams Road improvements project, the Region of Waterloo is constructing a two-lane roundabout at the Trussler Road and Bleams Road intersection.

Timing

Construction of this roundabout is starting on March 25, 2025, and is expected to be completed by October 2025.

Closures

While we work on the east side of the roundabout, southbound traffic on Trussler Road between Ottawa Street S and Bleams Road is closed. Northbound traffic between Huron Road and Highway 7/8 will be maintained.

Detour

Ottawa Street S — Fischer-Hallman Road — Huron Road.

There may be periods during construction when traffic will need to travel on a gravel surface, as well as times when traffic will need to be controlled with flag persons.

Emergency Services (Police, Fire, Paramedics) have been notified of the construction, closures and detours to minimize any disruptions to services.
