Region explores transit priority lanes for Fischer-Hallman Road
Waterloo Region – The Region of Waterloo is exploring ways to improve travel on Fischer-Hallman Road between Westmount Road and New Dundee Road.
The Region will undertake a study to look at new transit priority lanes on Fisher-Hallman Road. There are 16 Grand River Transit bus routes that run along or cross the corridor. At the same time, improvements to walking and cycling options will be considered.
A virtual public meeting will be held on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. There will be a presentation that includes an overview of the study area, the benefits of transit priority lanes and the benefits of improving travel options for all residents.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions and share comments and feedback.
