About the projectThe Region of Waterloo, in consultation with the City of Cambridge, will install new watermains along Mill Creek Road through the remainder of 2024. This work involves installing a new transmission watermain from Samuelson Street to Timber Creek Crescent, and a local watermain from Samuelson Street to Franklin Boulevard.

Due to operational changes, the Highway 7/8 closure for bridge placement scheduled for May 25-27, 2024, has been postponed. The work will be rescheduled to a later date in June.
