Waterloo Region – Today, Bruce Power and the Region of Waterloo are getting help from local firefighters to set up a new Hockey Hub vaccination clinic model at Bingemans in Kitchener. By Thursday, the clinic will be operational and administering first and second doses of the Moderna vaccine to residents of Waterloo Region who are 18 years of age and older.
Waterloo Region - The Region of Waterloo and Bruce Power are partnering to bring an innovative Hockey Hub vaccination clinic to the residents of Waterloo Region. As a result, this week alone there will be approximately 20,000 additional appointments available for residents who want to get their first or second dose of the vaccine.
Waterloo Region –Our community reached another important milestone in protecting each other from COVID-19. Today, more than 40 per cent of Waterloo Region adults are now fully vaccinated, with 192,817 people 18 years of age and older receiving two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Waterloo Region –More than a thousand doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered during the Region’s first youth-friendly drive-thru vaccination clinic at Bingemans. The clinic administered vaccines to anyone 12 years of age and older with booked appointments.
