This morning, 1,351 elementary students with out-of-date vaccination records were suspended under the Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA). Students who have been suspended can return to school once their vaccination records are up to date, or a valid exemption is on file.

Regional Council has approved a three-year agreement with Unifor Local 4304.

Members of Unifor Local 4304 have voted to accept a three-year agreement with The Region of Waterloo. A special meeting of Regional Council will take place in the coming days for final ratification of the agreement.
The Region of Waterloo and Unifor Local 4304 have reached a tentative agreement. Transit services will continue uninterrupted, pending ratification by union members on Sunday, May 3.
