Construction notice: Regional pavement repairs, August–September 2025 About the projectThe Region of Waterloo will be repairing damaged asphalt at 90 locations across the region over the next two months. This process includes removing the top layer of asphalt, cleaning, applying a tack coat to keep the asphalt layers together, and resurfacing with new asphalt and road lines.

About the project The Region of Waterloo is rehabilitating the West Montrose Covered Bridge in Woolwich. This project includes replacing worn-out wood, the roof and siding, removing the old steel support, repairing the bridge foundation and strengthening key parts of the structure.
