  • Notice of Intention to Amend the Regional Road System By-Law (2) Notice of Intention to Amend the Regional Road System By-Law The Region of Waterloo intends to amend By-law 01-059 (Regional Road System By-law). The amendment is with respect to the assumption of Speedsville Road between Regional Road 38 (Maple Grove Road) and Eagle Street (Regional Road 39) in the City of Cambridge.

  • Construction notice: Bearinger Road closure, City of Waterloo, December 2024–June 2025 Laurelwood Drive-Westmount RoadAbout the projectThe Region is completing improvements on Bearinger Road/Fischer-Hallman Road between Laurelwood Drive and Westmount Road in Waterloo. Improvements include new asphalt multi-use paths along both sides of the street, street lighting, a new watermain and stormwater/drainage improvements, and widening the road from two lanes to four.

  • Notice of Intention to Pass Fees and Charges By-Law Notice of Intention to Pass Fees and Charges By-Law   The Region of Waterloo intends to pass a By-law to Establish Fees and Charges, which includes new fees and charges, as well as amendments and/or removal of existing fees and charges. Some of the changes included in the by-law are for transit services, waste management services, airport services, cultural services, seniors’ services and paramedic services.
