Our Plan and Budget

Our Plan and Budget is how we make investments in things that matter guided by our Growing with Care Strategic Plan. It’s how we support the people of Waterloo Region with:

  • Roads and infrastructure
  • Paramedic and public health services
  • Clean drinking water and wastewater services
  • Affordable housing
  • Museums and cultural programming
  • ...And much more!

Our focus for the 2027 plan and budget is clear in the face of these pressures:

  • affordability for residents;
  • maintaining critical services; and
  • protecting essential infrastructure.

This is a stability-focused budget to ensure that the services our residents rely on remain strong and reliable, while also supporting our community through a period of economic uncertainty.
