2021 Regional Plan and budget approved to lead the region beyond the pandemic Council approved a budget increase of 0.51 per cent today as part of a plan to lead the region beyond COVID-19.

Waterloo Region - Region of Waterloo Public Health has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services' North Division (1001A Erbs Road, Waterloo). The outbreak was declared after three employees tested positive for COVID-19 and have an epidemiological link in the workplace setting.

COVID-19 is widely circulating in Waterloo Region and across Ontario and we continue to report high case rates. Under the Province-wide shutdown, all religious services, rites or ceremonies held indoors must adhere to a maximum of 10 people.
