IN THE MATTER OF an application by THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF WATERLOO for approval to expropriate land, which is required for the construction of a roundabout at New Dundee Road (Regional Road No. 12) and Robert Ferrie Drive, City of Kitchener, in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo.

About the projectFountain Street and Dickie Settlement Road Improvements and the intent of this letter is to provide a general update on the status of the work and to provide notice of an upcoming weekend road closure. Construction of the Fountain Street and Dickie Settlement Road is nearing completion.

About the project50mm of the existing asphalt will be removed and replaced with 50mm of new asphalt. New pavement markings will be applied.

About the projectThe Region reinstalled a watermain along the Concession Street Bridge in Cambridge that was damaged during 2018 flooding and ice debris on the Grand River. Construction between Grand Avenue and Water Street South is nearing completion with final restoration work anticipated to occur in October 2023.
