    Waterloo Region – Hop on over to the Region of Waterloo Museums and Archives for bunny-approved family activities and events this Easter. This year’s roundup is bursting with games, crafts, egg hunts, and egg-citement for kids of all ages.

  • WRHF Grant Applications Now Open

    The Waterloo Regional Heritage Foundation is pleased to announce that the Foundation is again accepting new grant applications from April 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026. The Foundation will be reviewing submitted applications from July 2, 2026 to September 22, 2026.

  • Region hosting community drop off events for old green bins

    Waterloo Region – The Region of Waterloo is hosting seven community drop off events for residents who would like to recycle their old green bins. Residents can also drop them off at either of the Region’s Waste Management sites (201 Savage Drive, Cambridge and 925 Erb St.

    Waterloo Region – The Region of Waterloo has approved a multi-phase approach to redevelop the former Charles Street Terminal site in the heart of Downtown Kitchener. The long-term vision for the block includes community spaces, public areas, connections to transit and Victoria Park, and new affordable and market rate housing.

    Applications for the 2026 Arts Fund are now open Waterloo Region – The Region of Waterloo has awarded $265,000 in 2025 arts funding to local arts organizations, artists and collectives. Region of Waterloo Arts Funding received more than 170 applications, totalling over $2 million funding requests from various organizations and artists throughout Waterloo Region.
