Waterloo Region – Waterloo Region has administered over 250,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and today will reach the milestone of 50 per cent of residents 18+ having received at least one dose of the vaccine. As the Region’s allotment of vaccine from the Province increases for the rest of May and into June, more residents can expect to be contacted to book an appointment.
Waterloo Region – Waterloo Region is now accepting requests for an earlier appointment for a second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine from highest-risk health care workers. These highest-risk health care workers were identified by the Province for a shortened interval between first and second doses of the vaccine.
Waterloo Region – Starting today, everyone who is 12 years of age or older can pre-register for the COVID-19 vaccine in Waterloo Region. Pre-registration is expanding locally as the Province announces a stable and reliable vaccine supply in Ontario.

Waterloo Region – Starting today, anyone who is 50+ (or born in 1971 and turning 50 this year) can pre-register for the COVID-19 vaccine in Waterloo Region. The Province announced it is expanding pre-registration due to an expected increase in the vaccine supply.
Waterloo Region – As of Monday, May 3, individuals who are 18+ and live in one of six high-priority neighbourhoods in Waterloo Region can pre-register for the COVID-19 vaccine. For the next two weeks, the Province has announced it is allocating more vaccine to communities hardest hit by COVID-19 and is expanding eligibility to individuals 18+ in these hot spots.
