Waterloo Region - In collaboration with Porchlight Counselling and Addiction Services, the Region of Waterloo Library (RWL) is excited to introduce a new collection of Sensory Support Kits. The new kits promote comfort, emotional regulation, and stress relief in diverse environments.

Waterloo Region – To mark Circular Economy Month, the Region’s Waste Management Division is partnering with local organizations to host the Garage Glow-Up: Drop-Off Event for unwanted household items on Saturday, October 25.  Circular Economy Month is a public awareness campaign aimed at educating and empowering Canadians to support an economy that protects the planet and prioritizes people, with a focus on sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing, and recycling existing materials and products for as long as possible.

Waterloo Region - Supporters from local school boards, health care, police, municipalities, grassroots and community organizations came together today to launch collective action against hate and to call on the community to build belonging in Waterloo Region. The We all belong campaign asks the community to care for each other at a human level, and to celebrate the differences and similarities that unite everyone.
