This project, developed in relationship with the Six Nations of the Grand River, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and urban Indigenous communities in the region, is a significant step in recognizing and honouring Indigenous cultures and histories through public art at the airport.

With the number of people experiencing homelessness climbing at an alarming rate, and 2,371 instances of homelessness recorded in October 2024 during the latest Point in Time Count, offering more spaces for respite from the cold is imperative.

For adults who are eligible for their second dose, getting whatever vaccine is available has always been more important than waiting for a particular brand of vaccine as both mRNA vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer) are interchangeable.
